The n-ordered graphs: A new graph class
For a positive integer n, we introduce the new graph class of n-ordered graphs, which generalize partial n-trees. Several characterizations are given for the finite n-ordered graphs, including one via a combinatorial game. We introduce new countably infinite graphs R, which we name the infinite random n-ordered graphs. The graphs R play a crucial role in the theory of n-ordered graphs, and are ...
متن کاملSpectra of Some New Graph Operations and Some New Class of Integral Graphs
In this paper, we define duplication corona, duplication neighborhood corona and duplication edge corona of two graphs. We compute their adjacency spectrum, Laplacian spectrum and signless Laplacian. As an application, our results enable us to construct infinitely many pairs of cospectral graphs and also integral graphs.
متن کاملNew Conditions for k-ordered Hamiltonian Graphs
We show that in any graph G on n vertices with d(x) + d(y) ≥ n for any two nonadjacent vertices x and y, we can fix the order of k vertices on a given cycle and find a hamiltonian cycle encountering these vertices in the same order, as long as k < n/12 and G is d(k + 1)/2e-connected. Further we show that every b3k/2cconnected graph on n vertices with d(x) + d(y) ≥ n for any two nonadjacent vert...
متن کاملA new class of perfect Hoàng graphs
A Hoàng graph G = (V, E) is a graph whose edges may be coloured with two colours (red and white) such that no induced path on four vertices has the wings of the same colour. Hoàng [6] conjectured that these graphs are perfect and proved two partial results concerning their perfectness. We use here a different technique to establish that for reducible Hoàng graphs this conjecture is true.
متن کاملA new class of transitive graphs
Let n and k be integers with n ≥ k ≥ 0. This paper presents a new class of graphs H(n, k), which contains hypercubes and some well-known graphs, such as Johnson graphs, Kneser graphs and Petersen graph, as its subgraphs. The authors present some results of algebraic and topological properties of H(n, k). For example, H(n, k) is a Cayley graph, the automorphism group of H(n, k) contains a subgro...
